A warm welcome to the dynamic duo James Rendell from Clever HR and Martin Weaver from Martin Weaver Designs who have taken on the role of joint Chair this year in SYBA.
Martin and James, who both run businesses locally, shared their proactive approach at SYBA’s March meeting. As business owners they both understand the pressures involved in finding clients and growing a business. Their focus is on collaboration and building relationships with other local businesses in order to support SYBA members to grow their network of contacts and referrals.
They have plenty of ideas for supporting local businesses to grow and throughout March they have been getting together with the exec team and other members for 1-1s sharing ideas, listening to what members want from their meetings and organising speakers and social events.

What’s new?
There are lots of thing in the pipeline including networking events, the introduction of business information and training experts and skill swaps. James and Martin have already started to focus on highlighting their member’s skills on Linked In and Facebook.
This year SYBA celebrates its 10th anniversary and will be organising various events to celebrate.
