A few months ago, SYBA decided to update its old website. The site was showing its age – the look, feel, content and functionality of the site was decidedly out of date and didn’t reflect the Association as it is today.
So the Exec team took the bold decision to undertake a complete overhaul on the site and with the help of a grant from South Gloucestershire council, we recruited a young and talented website designer David Pottrell from Peak Design to help us complete the task.
Our Secretary, Debbie Nichol, who has a background in marketing and has also run her own business locally, managed the project for us, rewrote copy and created new content. All with the help of local photographer, Rich McD who supplied the pictures and Mark Burgess at Refresh-IT who provided technical support and the site’s hosting.
It’s hoped that the new site will become a hub for SYBA members. Here members will find up-to-date details of forthcoming SYBA events, plus the latest news and details of all members. We hope you agree the new site is a big improvement on our old one! Many thanks to everyone involved in the project.
