Bringing local businesses together

The Sodbury and Yate Business Association is a dynamic and friendly network of local businesses from the Yate and Chipping Sodbury area.

We’re a supportive group and many of our members have benefitted from word-of-mouth referrals and promotion by fellow members. You’ll find a wide range of representative businesses and trades within our membership from accountants and solicitors, training and HR companies, marketing and sales specialists, to retail and commercial enterprises. The association meets once a month giving everyone the chance to touch base with other members and catch up on news and views from our wider community.

Campaigning on local issues

Our members are regularly involved in campaigning on issues that may affect our local and business community, from local housing and retail developments to closures in public libraries. The Association is also regularly involved in representing member businesses in local and regional policy making.

SYBA is run by an executive team made up of small group of members who give their time to make the association the best it can be. The team organises the monthly meetings, plus business, social and fundraising events.

Hire presentation and audio-visual equipment

If you have a presentation to deliver but don’t own a projector, screen or display boards, please contact us. SYBA has its own equipment which is available to all members to hire at no charge.
